Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is the practice of employees using their own mobile devices -- such as smartphones, notebooks and laptops -- for business. Today employers typically reimburse employees for such use by either paying a stipend to the employee through payroll or by requiring the employee to submit an expense report.
