Internet-Based System Helps Users Control Transportation Expenses

ST. LOUIS – Cass Information Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CASS), the nation's leading provider of freight and utility invoice payment, rating, auditing and information services, has launched CassPort™, an Internet technology application that allows users to more easily control transportation expenses.

CassPort™ is a Web-based portal into Cass Transportation Information Systems' Internet Reporting Services. It collects and organizes customer data and makes it accessible 24/7 via the Internet. By condensing data into one convenient display, CassPort™ eliminates the need to search through volumes of data. It can display key information at the summary level for a day, week, month or year, reducing the time required to access critical transportation and accounting information. The system's easy to use interface allows users to drill down into more detailed information as needed. CassPort™ is a standard feature provided to all Cass customers.

“Cass recognizes the importance of the Internet in today's business environment and is leading the marketplace in designing innovative and easy to use information delivery systems for customers,” said Jeff Thurston, vice president, financial technology. “While many companies allow customers to view and manipulate data over the Internet, we know of no competitor that provides the level of customization and metrics display available through CassPort™.”
